Learn Hypnosis

Learning Hypnosis Faster and Easier Than You EVER Thought Possible.  If you go about it in the right way. Of course that does beg the question.

What is the right way to learn hypnosis?

Ah, I thought you would never ask.

I think  that if you are going to invest in a live hypnosis training ( or a virtual one for that matter) you really need to check out a few areas first. Lets run through them real quick before I cut you loose on the rest of the articles on this site ( and there are quite  a few)

1. Credentials

2. Experience

3. Reputation

4. Relevancy

5. Repetition

6. Relationships

Well first and foremost as much as I would like to say.

You should all come learn hypnosis from me because I am the best there is.

I honestly can’t say that. You and I may not be a good  fit. I should probably explain that.

You see, first and foremost, besides having all the experience, training and credentials that you should be checking on BEFORE you enroll in any hypnosis training or certification program. There must also be a kind of  chemistry between you and your instructor.

Learning Hypnosis has always been a discipline that relies heavily upon a certain connection with the instructor and his or her teaching style. If the style jibes with your vibe, you tend to really absorb what your instructor is teaching. If they don’t then you tend to miss a lot of the intuitive things your instructor might be saying or doing.

That’s why its always a good idea to consume as much of a particular hypnosis instructors materials as possible, before you decide to enroll in his or her training.

Reputation

Reputation is something you always want to check. No a days in the ever expanding Google information web its easy to find out who is getting the best reviews for the trainings they give. But not only should you be checking Google. You should also contact any of their past students if you can find them, talk to them find out what they liked or disliked. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Most people actually love being asked their opinion. A little due diligence on the front end can save you lots of time and energy on the back end.

Relevance

Relevance of Course Content To Your Specific Application of Interest. Look I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people signing up for a particular hypnosis training looking information on a particular area of interest, and when they get to the training the instructor barely touches on it.

You see this a lot.

People come to a hypnotherapy training hoping to get better at meeting and attracting women and they learn therapy skills. Or They come to a hypnosis certification to get better at stage hypnosis and all they learn are therapy techniques.  Or vice versa, I have courses on therapy, I have courses on dating, attraction and relationships, I have courses on selling, marketing and hypnotizing in writing. I even have a training On Erotic Hypnosis.

You would be amazed at how many people enroll in something like an erotic hypnosis training and when they get to class all they ask are therapeutic based questions.

I know it sounds kind of strange. But every hypnosis trainer has a specialty and you really need to make sure that the specialty of the instructor is a match for the area you want to improve your skills in. Or Your like to come out of the training with a certifcate for skills you will NEVER USE.

Bottom Line – Wasted Money. Skills you don’t use are useless skills.

Repetition:

I used the word repetition because I just wanted to throw in another R Word. The truth is Repetition is the one area where I see most trainings fail, and ultimately the hypnosis students pay for it. On Several  Levels.

Most hypnosis trainings only pay token attention to hands on practice. The vast majority of hypnosis trainings spend far more time on didactic aka lecture and theory based learning than they do on actual hands-on-practice. The corollary to that of course is what are the instructors criteria for certification. What standards does the instructor demand you live up to. Or Will You simply pay your tuition pick up your certificate at the end of the class (whether you did the drills or not) and go home as “certified hypnotist” .

This for the most part is the crux of the problem. and the main reason why so many hypnotists come to our programs.

After all the money they spent, sometimes years and tens’ of thousands of dollars. Many of these people still have very poor skills and even lower confidence when it comes to actually hypnotizing people. At the risk of tooting my own horn this is kind where our programs really stand out from the average hypnosis training. We believe in going deep into technique through constant practice drilling and repetition. Its truly the only way to get the confidence and ownership of the techniques into you the student.

Many of our graduates (who studied at other programs prior to coming to us) are often amazed at how quickly we can take complete novices and turn them into unstoppable, confident hypnosis experts in such short amount of time. A Great deal of our success lies in what we DON’T teach as well as what we do teach, and how we teach it.

Relationship:

This is an area that I think is the most often overlooked yet most sorely needed aspect of training. After the training is over and you are out in the field. And you are working on applying the techniques and skills you’ve acquired, You’ll naturally run into things that don’t conform to the curriculum you were taught, you’ll run across special circumstances that only an expert with real world experience can give you. Will that instructor be there for follow up, when you need them? How accessible with they be to coach you over the rough spots and answer the kind of questions that only someone who’s actually been out in the field knows to ask, and who also knows the asnswer. Many times Ican tell whether or not a student has been applying the skills just by the quality of the questions they ask.

You’d be amazed at how many people Do NOT actually go out and test their skills. We get that out of the students mind on the first day of training. We have to otherwise the entire training just become another round of interesting information instead of a lasting transformation.
